In step 3 you indicate some additional properties.
Decimal: Different countries have different number format, after considering several Localization options, we decided end user to decide on this matter.
Field Separator: Relevant for static Data Points/Series. Do not put dot or comma here, since it may be used for Decimal.
Series in: If your data is a multi series set (each row/column is a series), you can Transpose the data or indicate what are your series. Example: Sales per Country per Year OR Sales per Year per Country
First Column/Row Header: Both relevant for Static. For query, First Row Header is ignored, since it use Column Header.
Show Legend: Indicate if you want to show Legend and where. Where is ignored if Legend is not shown
Graph Type: Indicate the graph type. StackedColumn is relevant when you have more that one series. Pie is relevant for only one series.
Enable 3D: Chart in 3D or 2D?
Border Style: Select one of the predefined styles to apply.
Version 1.3. Use tokens in your query.
Test Token 1: Enter the name of your token to preview your graph. Take note of the Token in your query since you will need to use it in the settings for the module.
Test Token 2: Same with a second token.
Example of sql query with Token:
select Categoryname, sum(productSales) as Total
[Sales by Category]
where categoryname = '[cat]'
group by Categoryname
Based on this query, the test token would be cat the brackets are added for you.
Test Value 1, 2: You can test your Token with a value.
Following our example of Query, you could test with a value for category name such as: Beverages which is a category name in Northwind Database.
If you do not use tokens, you can ignore this part.
If you use Tokens the preview will work correctly if token and token test value are entered correctly. The test value is used for preview and will be replaced by a querystring parameter. You configure this part in the settings of the module where the chart will be used.
If you use predefined tokens you can ignore this part since they are applied automatically.
